General features

The 2005 2.9 Sherco remains the flagship of the Sherco model lineup. The 2.9 has received many subtle updates that will make it the weapon of choice in the hard fought world of competitive trials. The evolutionary process continues based on the input from our world competition riders. The powerful 2.9 motor delivers a combination of high torque and smooth power, the chassis is light and agile, and these qualities make it the ideal choice for both club riders and world class competitors. For 2005 the changes include a new crankcase and cylinder along with a new cylinder head, a new exhaust pipe and new ignition mapping. The 2.9 also has revalved front forks and new packing in the muffler. .
