Sporting a racy-looking half-fairing for comfort as well as excitement, the new CBF1000 delivers eye-popping leaps of acceleration from its lightweight 998cc fuel-injected Super Sports-based engine, which has been specially tuned for performance that rolls on strong from deep in its rev range.

To 2018. It is powered by a 998 cc inline-four engine, which is based on the CBR1000RR Fireblade engine.
. The major changes were a new frame, made of aluminum rather than steel, four-into-one exhaust system replacing the original four-into-two, new digital instrument panels, and a redesigned fairing/screen.
