Designed for young teens that are ready to move up to a full size motorcycle the 1.25 is the perfect match. The 1.25 has an extremely strong engine for its capacity. The engine is powerful enough for world-class competition, yet docile enough for the newest beginner. This is the perfect full size bike for anyone who wants a bike that includes many of the same high quality components as the Professional class 2.5 and 2.9 models.

Sherco modified the tuning of the 2.9, 272cc, model; making a more mellow throttle response for better grip in wet conditions. This was done by increasing the volume of the cylinder head combustion chamber (lowering the compression ratio) and reducing the cross section area of the transfer ports.
To signify the trials motorcycle range, rather than the SE enduro and SU supermoto bikes now available.
