Based on the MV Agusta F3, the Brutale 675 was first introduced at the 2011 Milan EICMA show. The counter-rotating (reverse) crankshaft three-cylinder 108 bhp (81 kW) engine produced slightly less power than the F3 engine, but had more torque available at lower revs. As the triple engine was more compact than the four, the frame could be made more compact and the swinging arm lengthened compared to previous models. 43 mm Marzocchi upside-down forks, Sachs rear shock absorber and Brembo brakes from the F3 were fitted. The machine was available in pearl white/matte metallic gold, red/silver or matte magno grey/matte anthracite finish.
